BowDaddy Archery hosted a ribbon-cutting and open house Nov. 2 in recognition of its opening at 801 Highway 65 NE, Isanti, within the Shoppes on the Rum building.

Owner Josh Johnson and his wife, Lexi, welcomed members of the North 65 Chamber of Commerce, while he and staff gave a tour of the facility. Everything archery can be found under one roof with a full-service pro shop and an indoor range with plenty of shooting lanes for lessons and leagues for adult and youth leagues and individuals.

In a separate room, Johnson demonstrated TechnoHUNT, an interactive target-shooting environment that allows bow enthusiasts to virtually hunt various game from all over the world.

BowDaddy Archery carries a large assortment of bow brands and related equipment for sale. Accustomed to the local hunting scene, staff and their shooting pro counterparts are all dedicated bowhunters and archers and ready to help with accuracy and performance of all types of archery equipment.

Johnson was joined at the open house by staffers Josh Wagner and Jason Kallas and pro-staff shooter Jeff Gotz. Their goal is to make it simple for the average shooter or proven professional to get set up correctly and at a competitive price with products that can handle the Upper Midwest.

“Archery to me isn’t only a passion,” Johnson has said. “It’s a way of life, and by opening my own store, it will complete a lifelong dream of providing for my family for generations and doing what I love.”
