Join SAC’s Enrichment Center to board a motor coach headed to beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado and then ride the Colorado Rails.
This exciting trip will take place from July 13-22. We will head out on the morning of July 13 and return home in the late afternoon on July 22.
Some of the highlights of the trip include views of Pikes Peak and Colorado Springs, the Garden of the Gods, Canyons of the Ancients, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, and the Rocky Mountains. We will also be visiting the U.S. Air Force Academy, the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park, the Four Corners Monument, Mesa Verde National Park and the Great Platte River Road Archway.
The per person price of this trip is as follows: Single occupancy – $2,559; double occupancy – $1,899; triple occupancy – $1,879; and quad occupancy – $1,859. Besides all accommodations, this price also includes nine breakfasts, two lunches and three dinners. We will be riding the Pikes Peak Cog Railway, the Royal Gorge Railroad, the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad, the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, and, finally, the Amtrak from Grand Junction to Denver.
