Cambridge Planning Commission seeks members

The Cambridge City Council is seeking three individuals to serve on the Planning Commission. The city will use the list of interested applicants to fill any Commission vacancies that may arise during 2017. Individuals must be city of Cambridge residents.

The Planning Commission is an advisory board to the City Council and is responsible for the administration of the city’s comprehensive plan, development of ordinances, reviewing development projects and hearing requests for conditional and interim uses and variances.

The Planning Commission conducts a regular monthly meeting and additional meetings as needed. Planning Commission terms are three years. For information on residency or questions about serving on the Cambridge Planning Commission, contact Marcia Westover, city planner at 763-552-3207.

Applications may also be obtained at Cambridge City Hall, 300 Third Ave. NE or online at www.ci.cambridge.mn.us. The application deadline is 4:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 16.
