In 2002, Cambridge Lutheran Church began a free community Thanksgiving dinner. Why? Three reasons: So that everyone had food to eat, a place to go and people with whom to celebrate the holidays.
Now in its 15th year, it is still going strong. People of all ages and from all walks of life come to eat together and celebrate the abundance of God’s creation.
So, are you wondering what you’re going to be doing on Thanksgiving for dinner this year? You’re invited. Join them at Cambridge Lutheran for their Community Thanksgiving dinner, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
They are serving a hot delicious traditional turkey meal with all of the fixings and they would love to have you join them. All are welcome. Dinner is free with a free-will offering for those who are able.
Take-out meals are also available from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Call the Cambridge Lutheran office with questions at 763-689-1211.
