Princess Party
Friday, May 13: A Princess Party will be held at Cambridge Middle School. Registration is from 5:45-6 p.m. with activities from 6-8:15 p.m. Cost is $25 at the door. Activities geared to ages 4-8, but any aged little princess is welcome. Princess attires is encouraged, but not required.
“Act III: The Lawrence Welk Show”
May 13 and May 14: Tickets are on sale for an event at SAC’s Enrichment Center called, “Act III: The Lawrence Welk Show.” It is a variety show featuring some of the local talent such as the Primetime Singers, the Grad Band, Kenny Krona, Don Deye and multiple other acts. A home-cooked meal kicks off the entertainment and the meal-show package is $20. Showtimes are May 13 at 6 p.m. and May 14 at noon. Stop into SAC’s for tickets or call 763-689-6555 weekdays to reserve. Tickets will not be available at the door the day of the events.
City Center Market Organic Plant Sale
Saturday, May 14: City Center Market in Cambridge is hosting an Organic Plant Sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thousands of vegetable plants, flowers, and herbs will be available for purchase from local organic farmers, including Uproot Farm (Princeton) and Twin Lakes CSA (Mora).

Saturday, May 14: The Cambridge Farmers Market opens on May 14 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Located in the City Center Marking Parking Lot. There will be jam, jelly, crafts, plants and more.

Saturday, May 14: Four Seasons Garden Club presents its 20th annual Plant Sale from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the City Center Market parking lot in Cambridge, 122 N. Buchanan St., two blocks East on Highway 95 from Main Street.
Knit & Crochet Meeting
Saturday, May 14: The ladies of Faith Lutheran Church in Isanti invite all interested knitters or crochet enthusiasts to come to their monthly meeting, which is held on the second Saturday of each month from 9:30 a.m. to noon at Embroidery & Ink on Main Street in Isanti. A ministry that started with offering baptismal blankets to its members expanded to prayer shawls and lap blankets which are given to those in the military, homebound or other people in need. New Land New Life, Norwegian Exhibit
May 14-17: The Rumelva Lodge, Sons of Norway and The Isanti County Historical Society are co-sponsoring an exhibit free to the public titled, “New Land New Life, Norwegian Immigration 1825-1925” at the ICHS Heritage Center in Cambridge. The exhibit is comprised of 20 informational panels enhanced by artifacts, cultural skills demonstrations, musical performances and activities for children. Spring Concert at Cambridge Lutheran
Sunday, May 15: EC3HO, the East Central Children’s Choir Honor Organization, along with the PrimeTime Singers, will perform in a Spring Concert at 4 p.m. at Cambridge Lutheran Church. Also performing will be the Celestial Bells, and soloists, Michael Williams, trumpet, and Mary Kay O’Neill, organ. A free-will offering will be received.
Cambridge Surplus Food Distribution
Tuesday, May 17: Cambridge Surplus Food Distribution will distribute food at the Isanti County Fairgrounds in Cambridge from 2:30-5 p.m. or until food is gone. Registration will not begin before 1:30 p.m. To register you must have driver’s license or two utility bills in your name and with your current address.
