Eagan returned several players from last year’s Class AAA volleyball championship, and the Wildcats showed their “big show” experience with a 25-12, 25-21, 25-22 win over Cambridge-Isanti in the Nov. 6 quarterfinals on the Xcel Center floor. The Bluejackets, making their first-ever State trip, will next play Rochester Mayo in the 11 a.m. consolation semifinals on Nov. 7 back at the Xcel.

No. 3 seed Eagan faces No. 2 Eden Prairie in the Nov. 7 semifinals. In the other semis its’s No. 1 Chaska against No. 4 Roseville.
Saturday’s Class AAA schedule at the Xcel: Consolation Finals 9 a.m. – Third-place match 3 p.m. Championship 5 p.m.
