Eagan returned several players from last year’s Class AAA volleyball championship, and the Wildcats showed their “big show” experience with a 25-12, 25-21, 25-22 win over Cambridge-Isanti in the Nov. 6 quarterfinals on the Xcel Center floor. The Bluejackets, making their first-ever State trip, will next play Rochester Mayo in the 11 a.m. consolation semifinals on Nov. 7 back at the Xcel.
