Marilyn M. Cuellar, graphite artist, is the recipient of a 2017 East Central Regional Arts Council/McKnight Fellowship.
Up to three of these Fellowships are given annually to recognize, reward and encourage outstanding professional artists in the East Central Minnesota area. Cuellar is deeply honored to receive the Fellowship at this point in her artistic career.
She will use it to produce a new body of portraits based on her travels in Europe and Africa. Publicity, framing and photography of work are also included in the Fellowship funding.
On June 19, 2018, she will share her drawings with the public at a one-woman show at the Cambridge Medical Center and then at other future venues.
