Summer Concert in Cambridge City Park
Thursday, June 15: The community is invited to a Summer Concert in Cambridge City Park featuring “The Whitesidewalls Rock ‘n’ Roll Revue” at 6 p.m. All performances are free, and City Park is located at 810 Second Ave. SW, Cambridge. In case of inclement weather, check the city’s Facebook page, “Cambridge City Hall, Minnesota” for event relocation to either the Performing Arts Center at Cambridge-Isanti High School or the Armed Forces Reserve and Community Center.

Classic Car Show
Friday, June 16: A Classic Car Show in honor of Father’s Day will be held from 1-2:30 p.m. at GracePointe Crossing Gable’s East parking lot at Fern Street and Highway 95, Cambridge. Accordion music by Wes Miller and Root Beer Floats for all. Trophies for the Top 3 People’s Choice Awards. If you would like to participate, contact Penny Folkema at 763-691-2117 to reserve your parking spot.

Cambridge Farmers Market
Saturday, June 17: Cambridge Farmers Market will be held on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the City Center Market parking lot in Cambridge.

Ruby’s Pantry Pop-Up Pantry
Saturday, June 17: Ruby’s Pantry Pop-Up Pantry will be held at New Hope Community Church-Isanti Campus, 114 Dahlin Ave., Isanti, from 9-10:30 a.m. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. Everyone who wants to save on grocery expenses is welcome. In return for a $20 donation, participants receive an abundance of grocery items. Bring boxes or baskets to carry home the food. There are no income or residency requirements. Peace Walk
Saturday, June 17: The bi-monthly Peace Walk in Cambridge will take place at 9 a.m. The group meets in the parking lot at Highway 95 and Birch Street, and the walk takes about half an hour. They try to keep their messages positive, supporting equal rights and justice for all, protection of our environment, and an end to violence. Anyone is welcome to join them. They walk on the first and third Saturdays every month, so they will also meet on July 1 and 15.

Bowling for a Cure
Saturday, June 17: Bowling for a Cure will be held from 3-5 p.m. at Junction Bowl, 123 Cajima St., Isanti. Donation of $5 per bowler pays for two games, bowling shoes and two free tickets for door prizes. There will also be a silent auction held during the event. Free Variety Concert and Dessert Fundraiser
Saturday, June 17: Help a teenager from an impoverished community in Thailand come and study in Minnesota to help her go forward in life. Concert includes Catherine Victorsen and Jane Strauman (harp and flute); Barb and Eben Gillespie (folk music); and Esther Joy (singer/songwriter). Concert from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and dessert from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Common Ground: A United Methodist Community, 404 Cypress St. N., Cambridge. Donate online at KingsKidsMN.org.

Cambridge Police to hold ‘Coffee with a Cop’
Wednesday, June 21: The Cambridge Police Department will hold its first “Coffee with a Cop” event from 8-11 a.m. at McDonald’s in Cambridge. Coffee with a Cop provides a unique opportunity for the community to ask questions and learn more about the department’s work in Cambridge neighborhoods. There is no agenda and no presentations; simply visit with a cop. If you are interested in other Coffee with A Cop events or wish to host one, contact Sgt. Parkinson’s Support Group
Wednesday, June 21: Parkinson’s Support Group will hold their regular meeting on from 10–11:30 a.m. at GracePointe Crossing, Commons Building, 1545 River Hills Parkway, Cambridge. Individuals with Parkinson’s Disease, their families, friends and caregivers are invited to attend.

Food and Faith ‘Hero Central’
Wednesdays: Food and Faith ‘Hero Central’ will be held Wednesdays June 21 and 28, July 12, 19 and 26. Supper at 5:30 p.m. followed by mixed generational programming. Nursery provided for kids under 3 years of age. Go on an awesome adventure alongside some of your favorite Bible heroes and discover the qualities that make us truly heroic in God.
