Another Cambridge-Isanti baseball player will be taking his talents to the collegiate level.
On Nov. 17, senior Blaze Hogie announced he will sign a letter of intent to play at Dakota County Technical College. It remains to be seen what position he will play at the next level, but Hogie currently plays first base for the Bluejackets.
The Blue Knights are a Division Two Junior College team, located in Rosemount. One big perk of playing for Dakota County Technical College, is that Hogie will get a chance to play in U.S. Bank Stadium for home games.
In college, Hogie plans to study math or actuarial science. He has planned on following this career path ever since his experience in 9th-grade with teacher Mike Sorn.
