Rosemary Carpenter, age 61, of Isanti, passed away at her home on November 3, 2016.
Rosemary Lou Carpenter was born in Minneapolis, on September 4, 1955 to Thomas and Delores (Harstedt) Mix. She was raised in rural Isanti and graduated from Cambridge High School, class of 1974. Rose married Gary Carpenter on December 3, 1988 and they have made their home in rural Isanti. She was employed by Federal Cartridge for 33 years. Rose especially enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren. She also enjoyed fishing and camping.
She is survived by her husband, Gary of Isanti; two daughters, Marissa (Alex) Martinson of Nowthen, Jennie Carpenter and fiancé Trevor Honstrom of Isanti; two grandchildren, Ivan and Ava Martinson; mother, Delores Mix of Isanti; three brothers, Vernon (Elizabeth) Mix of Isanti, Richard (Rhonda) Mix of Nowthen, Robert (Bobbi) Mix of Isanti; and by many other relatives and friends. Rosemary was preceded in death by her father, Tom Mix.
The funeral service at 11 a.m. on November 8, 2016 at Long Lake Lutheran Church with Rev. Matt Flom officiating with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment was in Long Lake Community Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at StrikeFuneral.com.
