The Braham Elementary Parents Organization participated in Kindness in Chalk, an event where community members were encouraged to write kind message in chalk on sidewalks to prevent bullying in schools, on Monday, Oct. 3.

Members of the parents organization, as well as members of Braham’s volleyball team and Braham Ambassadors Emily Lindquist and Kaylie Paitl, gathered to write kind messages on the sidewalks outside Braham Elementary so that the school’s students would start off their day on a positive note, said Heather Sward, a member of the Braham Elementary Parents Organization.

“It’s so important to just really promote that and be examples ourselves,” Sward said.
