Patricia “Patty” Friedland, age 57, of Isanti died October 5, 2016 at Regency Hospital in Golden Valley after a long battle with multiple health problems.
Patricia Jean Friedland was born October 6, 1958 in Bismarck, North Dakota to Larry and Vivian (Alyea) Morrell. She graduated from Anoka High School and worked as a personal care attendant.
Patty enjoyed crafts and cooking. She was proud of her son who is serving overseas in Saudi Arabia and she especially loved spending time with her grandson, Trevor, Jr. Patty adored her cat and it was her life. She loved to fish and always had a scratch off to play. She had a good sense of humor and always found a way to have fun, even through difficult times.
Patty is survived by her son, Trevor (Wanda) Friesen and grandson, Trevor Jr. of Brooklyn Park; father, Larry Morrell of Isanti; three siblings, Rick (Joy) Morrell of Ogilvie, Donna Nutter (Les Sanborn) of Blaine, and Randy (Jenice Estrada) of Isanti; and by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Randy, and mother, Vivian.
Funeral services was held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 10th at Strike Funeral Home – Isanti Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment in Isanti Union Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at StrikeFuneral.com.
