Bison pass past C-I in Bluejacket Homecoming game

Buffalo broke a 21-21 tie with 20 straight points to spoil Cambridge-Isanti’s Homecoming game with a 41-28 road win Oct. 7. Bison QB Dylan Rohlin threw for 333 yards and 4 touchdowns, and he added a TD run in the fourth quarter.

Austin Schlenker and Ryley Nelson both scored two touchdowns for the Bluejacket offense which countered with 267 rushing yards on the night. Schlenker ran for 33 QB keepers to rack up 178 of those ground yards.

The Bluejackets (1-5) head to Rogers for their next Oct. 14 game, then they close the regular season with an Oct. 19 home game against North Branch.

 

Braham Football 30, East Central 0

The Bombers improved to 4-2 by blanking the Eagles Oct. 7, holding the hosts to 96 total yards. Hunter Giffrow found Hunter Richmond for a 21-yard touchdown pass for the lone score in the first half. Ryan Roslin scored on a 4-yard run early in the third quarter, then Grant Wilsey finished off the scoring on TD receptions of 7 and 64 yards.

Braham next travels to Barnum Oct. 14, then the Bombers wrap up the regular season with an Oct. 19 game at Mesabi East.
