
James M. Jendro, 65, of Wayzata, formerly of Cambridge passed died unexpectedly on Monday, October 3, 2016 at his home.
He was born June 30, 1951 in Fargo, ND to Clayton and Marjorie (Gerdin) Jendro. The family lived in Wheaton, ND for a time before moving to Cambridge. Jim attended school in Cambridge and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1969. He went on to attend Concordia College in Moorhead and graduated in 1973 with a degree in Education.
On June 5, 1971 he was united in marriage to Teri Jo Karstens at First Baptist Church in Cambridge. They lived in North Dakota until Jim finished college, then moved to Princeton. They would raise two sons Mark and Kevin.
Jim worked for 15 years at Westman Silo Company, drove truck over the road, and ran his own kitchen custom countertop and cabinet business, and most recently worked at Crystal Cabinets in Princeton.
Jim enjoyed woodworking, cabinetry, tinkering with things and loved shopping for a good deal. He was always there for others and made their lives better. Jim never asked anyone for anything and did everything he needed to make it better for others. He made a point to bring his family back into his life and was able to find peace at the end.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Milton and Edna Gerdin, Frank and Nora Jendro, brother Michael and nephew Danny Denker.
Jim is survived by his sons Mark (Lana) Jendro of Andover, Kevin (LaTecia) Jendro of Richfield, four grandchildren Jack, Anne, Karaigan and Ryan, life partner Tyrone Campbell of Wayzata, parents Clayton and Marjorie Jendro of Cambridge, brother David Jendro of Cambridge, sister Lori (Frank) Giampaolo of Wyoming, former wife Teri (Gary) Jensen of Mohave Valley, AZ, as well as other relatives and friends.
