East Central Energy celebrates members with Oct. 6 appreciation events

October is Cooperative Month. What better time to celebrate and appreciate the members who power East Central Energy with their support and patronage?
Open-house style member appreciation events will be held Thursday, Oct. 6 from 4-6:30 p.m. at the ECE Service Centers in Milaca and Finlayson and the Operations buildings in Braham and Superior.
A free meal, fun activities, drawings and giveaways will be available at each location, as well as information on the co-op’s money saving, energy-wise programs and careers in the electric cooperative industry.
A homegrown, member-owned cooperative, ECE was established 80 years ago by a small group of devoted citizens who worked together for a common goal, to bring the comfort and convenience of electricity to their rural area.
