Kathleen Ellen Hanzely, 56, of Isanti passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at the Cambridge Medical Center.
She was born on September 15, 1959 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to John and Verna (Adams) Hanzely. Kathy grew up in Northeast Minneapolis where she attended school, graduating from Edison High School.
Kathy worked as caregiver and worked at several group homes in the area. She loved to spend time with her family, enjoyed cooking, and caring for others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Dominic and Jim Hanzely, sister Linda Osterberg.
Kathy is survived by her fiancé Jim Ryan, children Trisha Matthews, Melissa Matthews, and Cory Matthews, step daughters Tess Ryan and Kelly Lilliblad, 14 grandchildren, sister Patty Nelson, brothers Mike (Linda) Hanzely, John Hanzely and Ken Hanzely, as well as many other relatives and friends.
