SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
JULY 19, 2016
The Special School Board Meeting of Cambridge-Isanti Schools was held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 5:30 p.m. at the Education Services Center in Room 121A and B with Board Chair, Tim Hitchings; members, Gary Hawkins, Lynn Wedlund, Jenni Caulk, Heidi Sprandel, and Darcy Winsor; and Ex Officio, Superintendent, Dr. Ray Queener.
Pledge of Allegiance was said.
The Cambridge-Isanti Schools Board of Education interviewed 3 candidates for Filling School Board Vacancy by Appointment: Michelle Weber, Gretchen Yagow and Nathan Reibel. After discussion at conclusion of interviews, the school board chose candidate Nathan Reibel to fill the vacant director position. Discussion also took place to move the building tour from August 22nd to August 29th and to have a special meeting held at the bus garage to swear in Mr. Reibel as a school board member.
Motion made by Jenni Caulk, seconded by Heidi Sprandel to adopt Resolution Filling School Board Vacancy by Appointment of Nathan Reibel. Roll call vote taken: Lynn Wedlund, yes; Gary Hawkins, yes; Jenni Caulk, yes; Tim Hitchings, yes; Heidi Sprandel, yes; and Darcy Winsor, yes. Against: None. Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
Motion made by Jenni Caulk, seconded by Heidi Sprandel to adjourn meeting at 7:40 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
