Public Hearing
The Isanti County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the County Board Room of the Isanti County Government Center, 555 – 18th Avenue SW, Cambridge, MN 55008 to consider the following requests:
1. The request of Richard DeLage 31158 Palisade St NE, Cambridge, MN 55008 to present a preliminary plat of Elk Ridge. Legal description is the NE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 fct. of Section 9, Township 35, Range 23, Isanti Township.
2. The request of Craig Miller, 5812 285th Ave NW Ave NW, Isanti, MN 55040 and Hass Family Farm, 4839 261st Ave NW, Isanti, MN 55040 to present a preliminary plat of Variolite Addition. Legal description is NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 fct of Section 9, Township 34, Range 25, Stanford Township.
3. The request of Dennis & Carline Sargent, 32998 Nacre St NW, Princeton, MN 55371 to present preliminary plat of Sargent Family Village. Legal description is pt of the SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 and pt of Govt Lot 1 of Section 33, Township 36, Range 25, Wyanett Township.
4. The request of Charles Johnson, 37077 Grandy Pines Rd NE, Stanchfield, MN 55080 to present a preliminary plat of Grandy Pines Addition. Legal description is Pt of the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 and W 1/2 of the W 1/2 of the NE 1/4 and the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 4, Township 36, Range 23, Cambridge Township.
5. The request of Robert Maze and Lea Asmussen, 1775 301st Avenue NE, Isanti, MN 55040 to rezone a property from Business to Agricultural/Residential. Legal description is pt SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 17, Township 35, Range 23, Isanti Township.
6. The request of Richard DeLage, 31158 Palisade St NE, Cambridge, MN 55008 to amend a Conditional Use Permit dated October 20,1983. Legal description is the NE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 fct. of Section 9, Township 35, Range 23, Isanti Township.
7. The request of Bret & Keely Wilkins, 3510 – 309th Ave NW, Cambridge, MN 55008, for an Interim Use Permit for a kennel. Legal description is the W 1/2 of the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 16, Township 35, Range 24, Bradford Township,
8. The request of the Isanti County Parks Department, 55518th Ave SW, Cambridge, MN 55008, for an Interim Use Permit for the mining of minerals, sand, peat, gravel and black dirt (soil) for the purpose of constructing a berm on an adjacent property. Legal description is Pt of Govt Lot 4 of Section 24, township 36, Range 24, Springvale Township.
9. The request of Peter & Jennifer Shugren, 2800 County Rd 6 NW, Cambridge, MN 55008, for a Conditional Use Permit for a Rural Tourism request for wedding venues, celebrations and events on the property described as NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 fct and the NE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 fct. of Section 4, Township 36, Range 24, Springvale Township.
10. Discuss reviewal/amending the Isanti County Zoning Ordinance, as it relates to private and personal airstrips.
11. Discuss Rural Tourism Ordinance as it relates to special events.
