Kanabec-Isanti Farm Bureau invites everyone to attend a Pancake Breakfast on the Farm, Saturday, June 18, from 7-11 a.m. at the Haubenschild Farm, located between Princeton and Cambridge. Join about 1,500 local people eating pancakes and learning about modern agriculture in our area.

See a dairy farm operation up-close, learn where your milk comes from, meet your local dairy princesses and the cows. These are the cows at the Minnesota State Fair Miracle of Birth Center. In addition, have a breakfast of pancakes, pork sausage, juice, milk, and coffee, tour the farm and talk to local farmers.

No pre-registration, just come for breakfast and a fun morning. Breakfast is $3 per person (kids 3 and under are free). The Haubenschild Farm is located at 35050 Nacre St. NW, Princeton. From Cambridge, 10 miles west on Highway 95 and then one mile north of Highway 95 on Nacre Street. Follow signs. Rain or shine. For more information call 320-679-1012 or email holycow7@hughes.net.

Stay for fun activities to learn about modern farming. See a dairy milking parlor in action. Learn about modern animal agriculture in east central Minnesota: how it works today, the many contributions to our local economy, how safe food is produced.

Tours, displays, exhibits, resource people and information will be available. The morning includes a petting zoo, activities for kids and more.

There will be “people mover” wagons with expert farm guides to provide you an entertaining 10 stop informational farm tour.

Breakfast on the Farm is catered by Chris Cakes of Iowa.

Breakfast on the Farm is sponsored by Kanabec-Isanti Farm Bureau, part of the Minnesota Farm Bureau.
