Lorna S. Chase

Lorna S. Chase, of Braham, died on Friday, June 10, 2016 at home, on the farm that she loved in rural Braham. She was 95 years old.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Braham with Rev. Tim Renstrom officiating. Carol Schmakel will be the organist and vocal music will be provided by Christy Schmakel. Interment at Rice Lake Cemetery in Braham. Serving as casket bearers are Connie Schmakel, Christy Schmakel, Bill Schmakel, Wade Nelson, and Scott Nelson.
Lorna is survived by her sons, Wayne and Steven Chase; grandchildren, Kim (Peter) Bren, Kelly Johnson, Amber Seiberlic, and Ashley (Nick) Bankers; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie A. Chase; son, James R. Johnson; two infant brothers; sisters, Helen Bischoff, Tillie Brandt, Lydia Anderson, Elda Lehrke, and Edna Johnson; brothers, Henry Schrupp and Milton (Bud) Schrupp.
