Three fun art classes for kids ages 7 to 12 will be offered through Cambridge Center for the Arts.
The cost is $10 per child, per session. They will be showing the art from these classes in a Kids’ Art Exhibit on July 29 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Gallery. Register online at www.cambridgecenterforthearts.org or call 763-552-0320 and leave a message.
• Wednesday, July 13, 6-7:30 p.m.: Students will learn clay techniques to create animals, small pots, or whatever their imagination tells them to make. They will be using air-dry clay. Instructor is Patty Wagner.
• Wednesday, July 20, 6-7:30 p.m.: Students will use their imaginations, with guidance from the instructor, to create wonderful paintings. They will be using watercolors, so bring a paint shirt. Instructor is Kate Salverda.
• Wednesday, July 27, 6-7:30 p.m.: Students will learn basic drawing elements to create portraits of themselves and their classmates. They will be using drawing pencils, charcoal and markers. Instructor is Sharon Howell.
