
Milton W. Tinkham, age 71, of Milaca died unexpectedly on April 9, 2016.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday, April 16 at Strike Funeral Home-Cambridge Chapel at 11 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior. A private internment is planned for a later date.
Milton William Tinkham was born September 26, 1944 to parents Milton and Ethel Tinkham in Berwyn, IL. Milton was raised in Potosi, Wisconsin along with his sister Dolores. Milton attended Potosi High School and graduated in 1962. He then attended vocational school in Illinois to become a tool and die maker. He worked at John Deere and FMC for many years as well as owned his own business for many years.
Milton married the love of his life Linda on July 24, 1987. Together they had eight children: Yolanda, Rhonda, Jonelle, Missy, Tom, Pete, Mindy and Brad. Milton and his wife lived in rural Isanti county. Milton enjoyed traveling with his wife, spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and cutting wood. He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors and love of family and friends.

He is survived by his children, Yolanda (Kevin) Dailey of Menomonee Falls, WI, Rhonda (Peter) DeBartoli of Staten Island, NY, Jonelle Nelson of North Branch, MN, Missy (Chris) Golden of Cambridge, MN, Tom (Tammy) Lindblom of Pine City, MN, Mindy (Travis) Hamilton of Milaca, MN, Pete Schintz of Isle, MN and Brad (Amanda) Swanson of Shafer, MN; his sister, Dolores (Bruce) Sorensen of Green Bay, WI; 18 grandchildren and many other close relatives and friends.
