Rotary presents “The Taste”
Thursday, April 7: Cambridge-Isanti Rotary Club presents “The Taste,” with over 20 restaurant and food vendors, and lots of fun and great opportunity to network. To be held at Spirit River Community Center, Isanti, 5-8 p.m. Tickets $20 at door or from a Rotarian.
Isanti County Agricultural Museum Fundraiser
Friday, April 8: The Isanti County Historical Society and Isanti County Agricultural Society will host an Isanti County Agricultural Museum Fundraiser from 3:30-7 p.m. at the Community Center of the Isanti County Fairgrounds. A Roast Beef Dinner prepared by caterer Susan Morris will be served. Wine Coolers and Beer available. A silent auction will be held from 3:30-7 p.m. and a live auction will be held from 7-8 p.m. Tickets are $30 and available online at isanticountyfair.com. All are welcome to make this dream a reality with the opportunity to experience late 19th century rural life in Isanti County.
Driver Improvement Course
Saturday, April 9: Driver Improvement (8-hour class for the first time participant who are 55-plus) will be held at SAC’s Enrichment Center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call 1-888-234-1294 and register. Lunch will be available for purchase from SAC’s Cafe.
Free Class at Green Barn Garden Center
Saturday, April 9: A free class will be offered at Green Barn Garden Center in Isanti from 10-11:15 a.m. on “Fairy and Miniature Gardening Basics.” Learn the basics to get started with miniature gardening. They will talk about indoor and outdoor options and cover container styles, plant options, soil, site and care. This is a demonstration and informational class. Braham Snappers Baseball Team Fundraiser
Saturday, April 9: Braham Snappers Amateur Baseball Team will hold a Pulled Pork Dinner fundraiser at the Braham Event Center, 655 Eighth St. SW, Braham. Dinner is at 6 p.m. and a live band will entertain from 8 p.m. to midnight. There will also be a Silent Auction fundraiser and full bar available. Cost is $10 per ticket.
Adult Forum at Common Ground
Sunday, April 10: Karen Carlson from Visiting Angels will present an adult forum at Common Ground on “Fall Prevention and the Importance of Staying Hydrated.” While this topic is especially important for seniors, she will have great suggestions for everyone reminding us how we can be safe and healthy in our homes. This event will begin at 10:50 a.m. in the sanctuary. Come early for coffee, treats and conversation in the Fellowship Hall. All are invited to this free event. Common Ground, 404 N. Free Movie at Braham Event Center
Sunday, April 10: All are welcome to a free movie at the Braham Event Center. The movie, “Annie,” will be shown at 2 p.m. The movie is free, but donations are appreciated. Event Center volunteer staff will be selling snacks.

Alcohol Chemical Treatment Series
Monday, April 11: The Alcohol Chemical Treatment Series of Deliverance will meet from 7-8 p.m. every Monday at The Journey New Life Church, 145 Second Ave. SE, Cambridge. Reach Out and Read Celebration
Tuesday, April 12: Everyone is invited to attend the Reach Out and Read celebration at 2:30 p.m. at Riverwood Village, 909 S. Dellwood St., Cambridge. Reach Out and Read at the Cambridge Medical Center has provided over 60,000 books to young children at their well care doctor visits since 2005.

Artists Reception
Friday, April 15: Back by popular demand is the “Wild n’ Crazy Exhibit,” by Cambridge Center for the Arts. This exhibit features some wonderfully creative and “not so ordinary” work from artists all around the community.
