Coffee CHATs at Cambridge Medical Center
Thursdays, through March 24: Join Cambridge Medical Center for its 2016 Community Health Awareness Talks on Thursdays through March 24. Braham Knights of Columbus Fish Frys
Fridays, through March 18: Braham Knights of Columbus Friday Fish Frys will be held on Fridays from 5-7 p.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Braham through March 18. All are welcome.

Trinity Lutheran Church Fish Frys
Fridays, through March 18: Trinity Lutheran Church Lenten Fish Frys will be held on Fridays from 5-7 p.m. at the church, 38460 Lincoln Trail, North Branch, through March 18. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for ages 5-10 and under 5 is free. Meatless spaghetti also available. All are welcome. Call 651-674-7047 with questions.

St. Elizabeth’s Lenten Fish Frys
Fridays, through March 18: St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church Lenten Fish Frys will be held on Fridays from 4:30-7 p.m. at the church, 207 County Road 23 NW, Isanti, through March 18. Cost is $10 for adults, $5.50 for ages 6-12 and 5 and under are free. Sponsored by Knights of Columbus Council No. 10238.

Free Dinner at Spirit River Community
Wednesday, March 9: Spirit River Community will host a free community dinner from 5:30-7 p.m. On the menu is baked chicken breast in a wine sauce, herb rice and a salad. There is no charge for dinner, but donations are accepted. Spirit River is located at 1321 Heritage Blvd., Isanti.

Writers Group
Wednesday, March 9: Writers Group open to all writers of all levels. This group meets regularly every second and four Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at Cambridge Center for the Arts, 140 Buchanan St. N., City Center Mall. For more info email at barb.ccfa.writers@gmail.com or 763-552-0320.

Knit & Crochet Meeting
Saturday, March 12: The ladies of Faith Lutheran Church in Isanti invite all interested knitters or crochet enthusiasts to come to their monthly meeting, which is held the second Saturday of each month from 9:30 a.m. to noon at Embroidery & Ink on Main Street in Isanti. A ministry that started with offering baptismal blankets to its members expanded to prayer shawls and lap blankets which are given to those in the military, homebound or other people in need. PFLAG Meeting
Sunday, March 13: The East Central Minnesota Parents, Friends and Families of Lesbians and Gays (including also transgender and bisexual) will meet at 4:30 p.m. at Common Ground (United Methodist Church) 409 N. Cypress St. Cambridge. They welcome anyone looking for support or who wishes to support or has questions concerning the LGBT community. Beginning Drawing Classes
Wednesday, March 16: Beginning Drawing Classes will be held from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Members $60, Non-Members $70. Learn the basic fundamentals of drawing; line, shape, value and perspective, in this hands-on course taught by Kate Salverda. Students will work in graphite (pencil), ink and marker. Bring any sketches you have and any other drawing supplies you have. They provide any other necessary supplies. Open to students 12 years to adult. Parkinson’s Support Group
Wednesday, March 16: Parkinson’s Support Group will hold its regular meeting from 10-11:30 a.m. at GracePointe Crossing, Common Building, 1545 River Hills Pkwy., Cambridge. Individuals with Parkinson’s Disease, their families, friends and caregivers are invited to attend. Come and enjoy the fellowship, light refreshments, share interests, concerns and more with others who are living with Parkinson’s.

CPR, First Aid Classes
March 16 & March 30: Braham Area Girl Scouts is hosting CPR and First Aid Classes on March 16 and March 30 from 6-10 p.m. at Braham Event Center. Cost is $40 whether you attend one or both nights. RSVP by March 13 by calling Tish Carlson at 763-244-0450.

St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon at SAC’s
Thursday, March 17: SAC’s is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at the Friendship Cafe (located in Cambridge City Center Mall) during lunch from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A home-cooked meal of corned beef and cabbage, boiled potatoes, shamrock dessert, and leprechaun punch will be served. Come try your luck at the Irish trivia contest. Prizes awarded to the people with the highest scores. Put on your green attire and come celebrate.

American Red Cross Blood Drive
Friday, March 18: An American Red Cross Blood Drive will be held from 12:30-6:30 p.m. at Elim Baptist Church, 114 Dahlin Ave., Isanti. Call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit redcrossblood.org to make an appointment or for more information. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in.

Community Arts Expo – A day for the family
Saturday, March 19: March Madness Community Expo & Art Sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. inside City Center Mall hosted by Cambridge Center for the Arts. $10 Art for sale donated by local artists with proceeds going to Li’l Farm Children’s Home, artists selling their work, face painting, musical jam sessions, dance performances from In His Steps Ballet at noon, goodies by SAC’s. 140 Buchanan St. N. 763-552-0320.
