At the end of March, there will be plenty of talk in Cambridge about the future. Those who show up for the free dinner and visioning session with the Minnesota Design Team will determine how grandiose that vision for the future may be. It is important for residents to meet with the professionals to brainstorm for the future. The dinner is a valuable part of the process.
Going forward, community members and local officials have a vested interest in making those discussions and ideas a foundation for how we shape the future.
At the Friday dinner, MDT professionals will ask interesting questions. These questions, and more importantly, the answers, will serve as a guideline for future discussions and decisions. The discussions will be the focus of the MDT suggestions for the community at the following day’s presentation.
Those presentations will not be an endpoint. Their ideas will be a springboard for possibilities. But, the future will be limited without participation of Cambridge residents.
