The Rum River Bandits will host the Kensington Norsemen on Wednesday night, July 24, at Larson Field for their annual FREE Killebrew Root Beer Floats Night. The Bandits and other Eastern Minny League teams are collecting used baseball gloves to send to our troops in Afghanistan. Bandit player Chris Lund is a member of the Minnesota National Guard’s 850th Horizontal Engineering Company.
Anyone interested in donating their used baseball gloves can contact Tom Koplitz at 763-742-3972. Gloves will be shipped overseas the first week of August.
